Periodontitis

Periodontal health for a better life

Oral bacterial infections can trigger or support life-threatening infections. Cardiovascular patients with inflamed gums have a mortality rate double that of patients with fully complete rows of teeth

Bleeding gums, swelling of the gums, bad breath, deterioration of the jaw bone, loosening of the teeth and tooth loss are commonly known as the effects of the infection disease periodontitis.

Through brushing teeth, chewing or through dental treatment the bacteria can spread through the body, which can lead to diabetes, heart diseases, respiratory diseases, Alzheimer or osteoporosis.
The risk of pneumonia is ten times more likely for patients suffering from periodontitis, alongside with alcohol consumption, heavy smoking and close contact with pets.

Periodontitis can heavily influence age-related macular generation, but can also lead to eyelid swelling, thrombosis of the eye vein and the inflammation of the eye and ocular nerves.

Periodontitis is not an isolated oral disease, but is interdependent with the whole body. Other factors such as acidification, immune weaknesses, environmental and genetic factors contribute to the development of periodontitis.

By identifying and eliminating of the factors, as well as a simultaneous treatment of internal diseases, supporting the immune system through holistic approaches, using biological medicines and conducting detoxification therapies, for example bowel rehabilitation and amalgam sanitation, can we work towards sustainable success.

Gentle Periodontitis Therapy

The key in approaching this therapy is multi-pronged. On the one hand, it aims to decrease the amount and aggressiveness of the bacteria and eliminate all negative influencers, and on the other hand to build the endogenous immune system and treating the general disease.

The patient is an integral part of the success of the therapy. Only through the implementation of the all the knowledge regarding oral hygiene, a balanced nutrition and regular care through the team (usually every three months) can reduce the risk of it coming back.

Supporting holistic therapies: oral acupuncture, ear acupuncture, body acupuncture, homeopathy, enzyme therapy, bio resonance therapy, herbal medicines, magnet field therapy, bowel rehabilitation, nutritional counselling, orthomolecular therapy, ozone therapy, aromatherapy and Bach flower remedies.
